Fatal Winston-Salem shooting death of Jeremy Obrien McClure – Obituary
Jeremy Obrien McClure, 39, was tragically killed in a shooting early Saturday morning in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The incident occurred at approximately 5:49 a.m. on the 3000 block of Indiana Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered McClure suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency Medical Services responded, but McClure was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division have taken over the investigation. Authorities stated that the shooting does not appear to be a random act of violence, though no suspect information has been released at this time.
