Fatal Newburgh pedestrian accident death of Daniel Porter – Obituary
Daniel Porter, 47, of Walden, has tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on Water Street in the City of Newburgh on Sunday, December 8. He was immediately transported to Montefiore-St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital by Empress EMS, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident led to road closures on Washington and Second streets as authorities investigated. The Newburgh Fire Department assisted in handling the scene, while New Windsor and State Police helped with the reconstruction of the accident. Newburgh Police are currently working to determine the cause of the crash.
