Fatal Forest Heights shooting deaths of Brian Freeman and Sakou Mathis – Obituary
Brian Freeman, 24, of Forest Heights, and Sakou Mathis, 21, of Washington, D.C., were fatally shot on Tuesday evening, December 17, 2024, in Forest Heights, Maryland.
Officers from the Forest Heights Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Seneca Drive at approximately 5:50 p.m. Both men were found outside suffering from gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
The Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating the incident to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting.
