The victim of a weekend shooting in Henderson has been identified as 63-year-old Clifford Hargis. The Vanderburgh County Coroner confirmed his death after he succumbed to injuries at an Evansville hospital. The incident occurred on Saturday night in the 1200 block of Cumnock Street, where Hargis was reportedly shot.
Henderson Police are still investigating the homicide, and they are seeking the public’s help in locating the shooter. Authorities have shared doorbell video from the scene, and anyone with further information or video footage is encouraged to contact Detective J. Meyer at Henderson Police. The results of Hargis’s autopsy are pending.
