Samuel Ramirez, a 26-year-old father of four, tragically died after being shot in the Panorama City neighborhood on Christmas night.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. near Cedros Avenue and Parthenia Street.

Witnesses reported hearing an argument followed by multiple gunshots, but no one saw the shooter. A red car was seen fleeing the scene.

Ramirez was found lying on the sidewalk and was pronounced dead at the scene. His family described him as a dedicated, hard-working man who was deeply devoted to his children.

His sister-in-law shared that Ramirez had stepped outside for a smoke break during a family gathering to celebrate Christmas when the shooting occurred. Authorities have not made any arrests, and the investigation continues.
