Fatal Columbia, S.C., apartment complex shooting death of Lenny Corley – Obituary.
Lenny Corley, a 33-year-old resident of Columbia, lost his life in a shooting at Riverside Apartments on Lucius Road late on New Year’s Eve. Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford confirmed Corley’s identity following the incident, which occurred around 10:30 p.m.
When Columbia Police Department officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Corley unresponsive. Another man, who also sustained a gunshot wound, survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released the second man’s identity, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting at this time.
