Fatal Riverside crash death of Cathy Coiner – Obituary

Cathy Coiner, a 75-year-old woman from Riverside, was killed in a suspected DUI collision on January 3, 2025.

The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Collett Avenue and Stonewall Drive.

Coiner was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty when it was rear-ended by a 2014 Toyota Tundra, driven by a 38-year-old Norco man.

The impact pushed her vehicle into oncoming traffic, where it collided head-on with another vehicle. Coiner was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries. The Norco man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and booked into jail.
