Fatal Lafayette County crash death of John B. Briscoe – Obituary
John B. Briscoe, a 61-year-old resident of Oxford, Mississippi, lost his life in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Sunday morning.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that the tragic accident occurred shortly before 8 a.m. on Highway 6 in Lafayette County.
According to authorities, the westbound Peterbilt truck, driven by Chad Holcomb, 41, of New Albany, collided with Briscoe’s Chevy Silverado. Unfortunately, Briscoe was declared dead at the scene.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the incident.
