Fatal Palm Beach County car crash death of Logan Johnson – Obituary
Logan Johnson, 24, from Belle Glade, has been confirmed as the third fatality in a head-on collision in Palm Beach County. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO), Johnson was pronounced dead at 2:27 p.m. on December 30, following the incident. His family has been informed.
The crash took place in late December on US 27 near mile marker 85 around 2:35 a.m. PBSO reports that Raul Sifonte, 40, was driving a van northbound in the southbound lanes when he collided with a Chevrolet Suburban carrying four people. Sifonte and the Suburban’s driver, Damion Jones, 24, of South Bay, died at the scene.
Two other passengers in the Suburban, women aged 23 and 25, were rushed to St. Mary Medical Center with serious injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the wrong-way crash.
