Fatal Greenville County crash death of Jason Kyle Svendsen – Obituary
Jason Kyle Svendsen, 34, of Greer, tragically passed away on Monday morning after being involved in a crash on North McElhaney Road, about five miles north of Greer.
The crash occurred around 5:40 a.m., according to Senior Deputy Coroner Kristy Strange. Svendsen, driving a 2009 Volkswagen sedan, was heading south on North McElhaney Road when his vehicle veered off the road.
The car then descended an embankment and collided with a tree, leading to his death at the scene. Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
