Fatal south Oshawa shooting death of Dennis Binda – Obituary
On the afternoon of December 31, 2024, 29-year-old Dennis Binda was tragically shot and killed at 1040 Cedar Street in south Oshawa. Police officers responded to the scene around 2 p.m., where Binda was discovered inside the building. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead on-site.
Durham Police announced on Monday that an arrest warrant has been issued for 44-year-old Michael Mills, who is being charged with second-degree murder in connection with the incident.
Binda’s death marks the 11th homicide recorded in Durham Region for the year.
