Fatal Baton Rouge shooting death of Leonard Browder – Obituary
Leonard Browder, 30, passed away after being critically injured in a shooting in Baton Rouge on Monday, January 6.
Authorities reported that the incident occurred around 4 p.m. near Shelley Street and Scenic Highway, where officers were initially alerted to a single-vehicle crash.
Upon arriving, police discovered Browder lying in a nearby field and determined he had been shot. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition but sadly succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
Investigators have not yet identified any suspects or determined a motive for the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
