Fatal Laurens County car crash death of Nicolas Perez Mendez – Obituary
A collision on Wednesday afternoon in Laurens County claimed the life of 54-year-old Nicolas Perez Mendez, a resident of Spartanburg. The accident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 72 and Charlottes Road in Clinton.
According to the Highway Patrol, the incident involved a box truck and a Toyota SUV. Out of the three individuals inside the SUV, one sustained injuries, while Mendez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
