Fatal Robertson County car crash death of Hugh Hall – Obituary
Hugh Hall, an 82-year-old man, lost his life in a tragic head-on collision with an 18-wheeler Thursday morning in Robertson County, Texas. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Highway 79, between Franklin and Marquez.
According to DPS troopers, Hall was traveling west in the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons when his 2022 Ford F-150 collided with a 2010 Freightliner semi-truck. The semi-truck driver attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to do so.
Hall was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital in Bryan for treatment.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading up to the fatal crash.
