Jessica Rice dies in fatal Spartanburg County car crash

Fatal Spartanburg County car crash death of Jessica Rice – Obituary

Jessica Rice, a 30-year-old resident of Spartanburg, lost her life in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, as confirmed by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that at approximately 3:15 a.m., a 2014 Nissan Maxima was traveling west on I-26 near US 29 when it veered off the left side of the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Rice, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash.
