Fatal Mattapan shooting death of Leroy Ryner – Obituary
Leroy Ryner, an 18-year-old man from Roxbury, was fatally shot in Mattapan on February 1, 2025. At around 10:31 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Morton Street and West Selden Street.
Upon arriving, officers learned that Boston EMS had already transported Ryner to Boston Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Boston Police Department’s homicide unit is investigating the case and asking anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously via the CrimeStoppers hotline.
