Deshaun Labraunt Lewis, 18, was identified as the victim of a deadly shooting at a Decatur barbecue restaurant over the weekend, according to local authorities.
Police responded to Nash BBQ, located at 104 12th Avenue Northwest, around 12:12 a.m. on Saturday after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Lewis suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders transported him to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities believe the shooting was an isolated incident, but the investigation remains ongoing. Officials have not yet released any additional details regarding possible suspects or motives.
