Fatal Odessa car crash death of William Thompson – Obituary

A collision at the intersection of Faudree and Eastridge Roads in Odessa on Monday evening resulted in the death of 30-year-old William Thompson and left two others injured.

According to the Odessa Police Department, the crash happened around 6:22 p.m. when a blue Hyundai Sonata, driven by 29-year-old Trintin Conner, attempted to turn west onto Eastridge Road. Investigators say Conner failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a black Ford F-250 traveling south on Faudree Road, operated by 33-year-old Brittany Redmon.

Emergency responders transported all three individuals to Medical Center Hospital. While both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries, Thompson, who was in the front passenger seat of the Sonata, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
