The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is currently looking into a fatal shooting that occurred in Grant, Oklahoma, on Monday, February 3.
The victim, 21-year-old Dawson Bostic, was found at a residence near North Ervin Street and East Locust Avenue after a call was made regarding a shooting at about 5:00 p.m.
Deputies arrived at the scene and attempted to save Bostic’s life, but he was later pronounced dead at the hospital from the injuries sustained during the incident.
The investigation led OSBI agents to identify the suspect as 21-year-old Rickey Johnson. Johnson has been arrested and booked into the Choctaw County Jail, with charges pending.
