Authorities have identified 37-year-old Steven Dreuitt as the man who lost his life when a medical jet crashed in Northeast Philadelphia on Friday evening.

According to police, the crash occurred just before 6:10 p.m. on the 2300 block of Cottman Avenue. Dreuitt was inside a vehicle when the plane went down, resulting in his death at the scene.

Several cars were in the vicinity at the time of the crash. In addition to Dreuitt, all six occupants of the jet—including a child patient, her mother, and four crew members from Mexico—were also killed.
