Authorities have identified 63-year-old Delphis Lannan of Evansville as the bicyclist who was fatally struck by a vehicle on the Lloyd Expressway late Thursday night.
Emergency responders received a call around 10:30 p.m. regarding a collision involving a bicycle near Cross Pointe Boulevard. When they arrived, they found Lannan had sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have stated that the driver involved in the crash has not been charged. The Evansville Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
