Fatal Casa Grande shooting death of Syncere Ellington – Obituary
A shooting in Casa Grande left five people injured and claimed the life of 19-year-old Syncere Ellington, police reported.
Officers were dispatched to the area of McMurray Boulevard and Pinal Avenue around 1 a.m. on February 8 in response to reports of gunfire, according to a statement released by the Casa Grande Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers discovered five victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Among them were three 20-year-olds, a 19-year-old, and a 17-year-old. All five were transported by air to hospitals in the Valley for medical treatment.
Authorities also located Syncere Ellington, a resident of Phoenix, who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police confirmed that there are no remaining suspects or ongoing threats to public safety.
