Fatal Mt. Auburn shooting death of Joshua Smith – Obituary
A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in Mt. Auburn, according to Cincinnati police.
Officers responded around 4:25 p.m. to reports of a shooting on Maplewood Avenue, where they found 34-year-old Joshua Smith suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders provided medical aid before transporting him to the University Hospital Medical Center. Despite their efforts, he did not survive.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit leading the case.
