Allo A. Corbett, a 21-year-old from North Augusta, lost his life following a tragic crash early Saturday morning on SC Highway 230 near Townes Road in Edgefield County.
Authorities report that the accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. when a Ford F-150 traveling east collided with an electric scooter heading west. Corbett, who was operating the scooter, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Augusta Medical University, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the Ford F-150 was not injured in the crash. Officials have yet to determine the circumstances leading to the collision, and an investigation remains ongoing.
Corbett’s passing is a heartbreaking loss for his loved ones and the community as they mourn his untimely death.
