Fatal Sioux City vehicle crash and fire death of Brady Locke – Obituary
Brady Locke, a 22-year-old resident of Sioux City, lost his life Friday night when his vehicle crashed into a utility pole and caught fire.
Authorities reported that the accident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. on February 7 in the 3200 block of Transit Avenue. Locke was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound at high speed when he lost control, causing the SUV to collide with a utility pole. The vehicle ignited upon impact and was fully engulfed in flames by the time emergency responders arrived.
Locke was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The Sioux City Police Department is continuing its investigation into the crash.
