Fatal Miami Gardens crash death of Kamari Graham, Azariah McCall, Ireanna Johnson, Kamarya Graham, and Rosa Jones – Obituary

A devastating crash in Miami Gardens has left five children and their grandmother dead. The tragic accident occurred on Saturday evening when a white Nissan Altima, carrying five children and three adults, collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Northwest 170th Street and 37th Avenue just before 6 p.m.

The victims have been identified by their family. The children, who were siblings, included Kamari Graham, who was celebrating his 10th birthday, 9-year-old Azariah McCall, and 11-year-old Ireanna Johnson. Their grandmother, Rosa Jones, in her 50s, also lost her life in the crash. Their aunt, Susie Williams, shared the heartbreaking news and expressed the family’s grief, calling the children “wonderful kids.”

Another sibling, 13-year-old Kamarya Graham, was severely injured and remains brain-dead. Their mother is in critical condition, while a family friend, a 7-year-old boy, survived the crash and is currently stable.

Surveillance footage revealed that a black Kia Sorrento, driven by 25-year-old Antonio Wilcox Jr., rear-ended the Altima, causing it to crash into a Cadillac Escalade. Authorities said Wilcox was driving under the influence and at a high rate of speed. He was arrested at the scene, and police confirmed that he will face five counts of vehicular homicide.

Ronald McCall, the father of two of the children, expressed his anguish, saying he had just been released from jail for a DUI the morning of the crash, only to learn of the devastating loss of his children. The family had been on their way to the movies when the fatal incident occurred.

Williams, in shock from the loss, urged others to remember the dangers of drinking and driving, stating that her family can never be replaced. The family continues to grieve and seeks the community’s prayers during this difficult time.
