Authorities have confirmed the identity of a man who was found unresponsive outside a home in Reedley over the weekend and later passed away. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday that the deceased is 27-year-old Justin Ontiveros, a resident of Reedley.
Officers from the Reedley Police Department responded to a report of a man lying on the ground near Myra and Buttonwillow avenues just before 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, they attempted to revive him through CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances leading up to Ontiveros’ death as they work to determine what happened.
