Fatal Fort Wayne motorcycle crash death of Richard Bartley Stone – Obituary
Richard Bartley Stone, 52, of Fort Wayne, was killed Friday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a box truck, according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Parnell Avenue and Spy Run Avenue Extended. Authorities say Stone was riding his motorcycle when it collided with the box truck.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Stone was pronounced dead. The coroner reported that he died from multiple blunt force injuries and ruled the death an accident.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
