Fatal Marin County crash death of Josalynn Osborn, Sienna Katz, Ada Kapley, and Olive Koren – Obituary
On the evening of April 18, 2025, a tragic crash in Marin County claimed the lives of four teenagers, with two others left in critical condition. All six victims were students at Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo.
The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when a Volkswagen SUV went off San Geronimo Valley Road and collided with a tree near Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Josalynn Osborn, Sienna Katz, Ada Kapley, and Olive Koren, who were in the vehicle, died from the crash. Elsa Laremont Stranczek and Marley Barclay survived but are in critical condition.
Marley’s mother, Jessica Glantz, shared that Marley had explained how the car swerved after another vehicle allegedly entered their lane, but the California Highway Patrol has not confirmed this detail. The teens were reportedly all wearing seatbelts, and there is no evidence that alcohol played a role in the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The school district is offering counseling services for grieving students and staff, and the community is coming together during this heartbreaking time.
