Fatal Copperas Cove motorcycle crash death of Brett Dudley Harden Jr. – Obituary

Brett Dudley Harden Jr., 38, of Copperas Cove, has been identified as the man killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and SUV on Monday afternoon.

 

The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on North FM 116. Authorities say the SUV was heading north and attempted a left turn into a parking lot, failing to yield to Harden, who was traveling south on a motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the SUV.

 

Bystanders attempted CPR before emergency personnel arrived. Harden was transported to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

 

Police stated there is no evidence the SUV driver was impaired, and the crash remains under active investigation.
