Todd Anthony Wilkins, a 45-year-old man, was tragically struck and killed in a pedestrian accident on April 16, just after midnight, near Beach Boulevard and Talbert Avenue in Huntington Beach. Wilkins was crossing the road when a northbound vehicle struck him.
The driver, a 73-year-old man from Santa Ana, stayed at the scene and cooperated with police, who found no signs of impairment.
Wilkins, who did not have a fixed residence at the time, was later identified by the coroner’s office, with the cause of death determined to be the result of the crash. Authorities continue their investigation into the incident.
