Fatal Springfield shooting death of Leslie Westbrook – Obituary
Leslie Westbrook, 54, lost her life in a shooting that occurred in Springfield last week. Authorities responded to a call regarding an unspecified disturbance in the 0-100 block of Allen Park Road around 3 a.m. on Thursday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. Westbrook was pronounced dead at the scene, while a male victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The Hampden District Attorney’s Office confirmed Westbrook’s identity on Tuesday. Law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
