Keri L. Pike dies in fatal Kingsbury crash

Fatal Kingsbury crash death of Keri L. Pike – Obituary

Authorities in Washington County have confirmed the identities of the drivers involved in a deadly collision that took place Saturday afternoon in Kingsbury.

 

According to the initial investigation, Rhonda A. Sexton, 50, from Fort Ann, was driving a 2016 GMC Sierra on State Route 4 when she veered into the opposite lane and collided with a 2018 Nissan Rogue being driven by 48-year-old Keri L. Pike of South Glens Falls shortly after 1 p.m.

 

Sexton was taken to Glens Falls Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Pike was also transported to Glens Falls Hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries sustained during the crash.

 

The stretch of Route 4 between Kingsbury Road and Rock City Road remained closed for several hours while law enforcement conducted their investigation at the scene.

 

Emergency responders from Fort Edward EMS, Fort Ann EMS, multiple local fire departments including Argyle, Bay Ridge, Fort Ann, and Kingsbury, along with the Washington County Department of Public Safety and the New York State Police, provided assistance at the crash site.

 

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
