Hector Hinojosa dies in fatal Warsaw pedestrian crash
Fatal Warsaw pedestrian crash death of Hector Hinojosa – Obituary.
Hector Hinojosa, 54, tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Warsaw. The crash occurred just after midnight at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Parker Street.
Authorities stated that a 2012 Dodge Journey, traveling eastbound on U.S. 30, hit Hinojosa while he was walking in the travel lane. Despite the driver’s efforts to avoid the collision, the pedestrian sustained severe injuries.
Hinojosa was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident with the assistance of the Fatal Team for crash reconstruction.
