Fatal Willowbrook shooting death of Elijah Davenport – Obituary
Authorities have identified 14-year-old Elijah Davenport as the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred late Friday night in an unincorporated area between Gardena and Compton. Deputies responded to reports of gunfire at 11:58 p.m. on the 13100 block of Jarvis Avenue, near Main and San Pedro streets in Willowbrook.
Davenport was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to homicide Lt. Steven De Jong.
