Fatal Sioux City crash death of Osmel Borrego Carlez and Pablo Morales Torres – Obituary.

The Sioux City Police Department has identified the two victims of a deadly crash that occurred in the Morningside neighborhood on April 19. Osmel Borrego Carlez, 40, and Pablo Morales Torres, 26, both from Norfolk, Nebraska, tragically died from their injuries. The crash took place around 4:26 a.m. when the driver of a white 2014 Infiniti QX80 lost control while speeding east on Transit Avenue. The vehicle struck a curb, collided with a utility pole, and hit a house’s front porch. The front-seat passenger, Borrego Carlez, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Morales Torres, sitting in the back seat, succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital. The driver, whose name and condition have not been released, was also hospitalized. The Sioux City Police continue to investigate the incident.
