Fatal Boise motorcycle crash death of Abdullah Hraidin – Obituary

BOISE, ID — A 16-year-old student lost his life in a tragic motorcycle crash on Thursday, April 24, at the intersection of West Fairview Avenue and Mitchell Street. The incident occurred around 9:49 a.m., and despite efforts to save him, Abdullah Hraidin was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt force trauma.

Hraidin, a student at Capital High School and the Dennis Technical Education Center, was riding his motorcycle westbound on Fairview Avenue at a very high rate of speed when he collided with a pickup truck turning onto Mitchell Street. The impact resulted in Hraidin’s immediate death, while the driver of the pickup truck, who sustained injuries, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident caused a partial closure of Fairview Avenue for over four hours, and traffic resumed around 2:15 p.m. Boise Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
