Fatal Flint Township motorcycle crash death of Maddox Dlamater – Obituary
FLINT TWP. — Authorities have confirmed that 20-year-old Maddox Dlamater of Leslie, Michigan, lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Saturday night, April 19, along westbound I-69 near Miller Road.
According to the Flint Township Police Department, Dlamater was traveling west when he lost control of his motorcycle, colliding with the median guardrail. The impact caused him to be thrown from the motorcycle, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Both directions of I-69 were closed for several hours to allow for investigation and clean-up efforts. Officials noted that Dlamater was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, and preliminary findings suggest that speed may have contributed to the accident.
Emergency response teams from the Flint Township Fire Department, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Metro Police Authority of Genesee County assisted at the scene.
