Fatal Forest Park shooting death of Anthony Hearns and Isiah Mack – Obituary

Forest Park, Georgia, was shaken by a tragic shooting on Sunday afternoon, where two men lost their lives during a motorcycle club gathering.

The victims, 39-year-old Anthony Hearns and 25-year-old Isiah Mack, were fatally wounded at a mechanic’s shop located between Jones Road and Old Dixie Highway.

Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of shots fired shortly before 5 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered several individuals who had been shot, with Hearns and Mack succumbing to their injuries.

Three others were hospitalized for their wounds. The event appeared to be a gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts, with approximately 150 to 200 people present at the time of the shooting.

While investigations continue, officials have not yet arrested any suspects. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office are assisting with the investigation. Local law enforcement does not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.

Forest Park’s leaders expressed shock and disappointment over the incident, emphasizing that such violence is rare in their community. Mayor Angelyne Butler released a statement, vowing that those responsible would face justice.
