Fatal South Houston shooting death of Jevon Clark – Obituary
Jevon Clark, a 30-year-old man, was fatally shot while inside his vehicle at an apartment complex in South Houston on Sunday night. The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. in the parking lot of The Life at Clearwood apartments, located in the 9400 block of Clearwood Drive.
Authorities say Clark was driving into the lot in a Nissan Altima when he was shot. When officers arrived, they found him deceased inside the car. Witnesses reported that another individual was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting but fled into the apartment complex immediately after.
Police have not yet determined a motive for the attack and are still searching for a suspect. The shooter has been described as a black male wearing a black hoodie and black pants. K-9 units were deployed to search the area, but no arrests have been made so far.
