Robert Boles dies in fatal Angelina County crash after pickup truck drives through his home

Fatal Angelina County crash death of Robert Boles – Obituary

A 70-year-old man, Robert Boles, was tragically killed when a pickup truck crashed through his home in Angelina County, Texas, on Thursday morning, April 24.

 

According to the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 7 a.m. when a Chevrolet pickup truck veered off FM 842, struck a tree, and then drove into Boles’ home, causing fatal injuries. Boles was found dead at the scene.

 

The truck’s driver, identified as Jorge Urbina Lopez, fled the scene, but officers were able to track him down by following a trail of damage. Lopez was found at a nearby residence, and the damaged truck was located with a tarp partially covering it. The suspect, who had numerous traffic warrants and prior arrests, was taken into custody and booked into the Angelina County Jail.
