Fatal Sacramento County car crash death of Lee Vincent Giroux – Obituary
Lee Vincent Giroux, a 65-year-old resident of Elverta, lost his life in a crash late Sunday morning in Sacramento County.
According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred around 10:20 a.m. along Elverta Road near Highway 99. The circumstances surrounding Giroux’s death remain under investigation, and it has not yet been officially classified as a motor vehicle accident.
The California Highway Patrol reported that Giroux’s vehicle veered off the road and struck a pole. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Footage from the incident showed a black SUV lying on its right side against a power pole, with evidence suggesting it may have collided with another pole further down the road.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the events leading up to the crash to determine what factors may have contributed to the incident.
