Fatal Charlotte car crash death of Albert Alexander III – Obituary

A man lost his life after crashing while allegedly driving at high speed without headlights in Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The crash occurred late Friday night, April 25, around 11:43 p.m., though authorities did not specify the exact location of the incident.

Police reported seeing a Dodge Challenger traveling at a fast pace with its lights off. The driver reportedly ignored an attempted traffic stop, but officers stated that they did not engage in a pursuit.

Moments later, a collision occurred between the Dodge Challenger and a GMC Sierra. The driver of the Challenger, identified as 31-year-old Albert Alexander III, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
