Fatal Lancaster County plane crash death of Judah White – Obituary

Judah White, a 20-year-old sophomore at Cedarville University in Ohio, tragically lost his life in a plane crash on Sunday afternoon in Lancaster County. White, who was majoring in cyber operations, was flying back to campus from spring break when the plane went down shortly after taking off from Lancaster Airport.

The plane crashed into a parking lot at Brethren Village in Manheim Township, causing a fire that spread to nearby vehicles. White, along with pilot Matt White (no relation), and another passenger, were critically injured in the crash and are being treated at Lehigh Valley Burn Center. Two other passengers on board were treated and later released from Lancaster General Hospital.

According to Venture Flights, the private plane was being flown by Matt White, an executive board member of the company, with his family onboard.

Authorities have praised the pilot’s skill in avoiding further tragedy, as the crash occurred in a narrow area between buildings. Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured in the crash. The incident is still under investigation.
