Fatal Anderson County shooting death of Rona Paul McGirt – Obituary
Rona Paul McGirt, 59, of Anderson, was among two individuals who lost their lives in a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning in Anderson County, South Carolina.
Deputies and the coroner’s office responded to the scene on Quinn Street at approximately 7:30 a.m., where they found McGirt and another victim deceased. A third individual sustained injuries but is expected to survive.
Authorities have arrested Darren Demetrius Martin in connection with the incident. He faces multiple charges, including two counts of murder and attempted murder. The case remains under investigation
