A tragic accident occurred Monday morning in Holly Hill when a bicyclist, identified as Adam P. Lacouzz from Daytona Beach, was involved in a head-on collision with a car.

The crash took place at the intersection of 10th Street and the Florida East Coast railroad tracks, near Centennial Park & Lake Hadley.

Holly Hill police reported that Lacouzz, riding his bike, and the vehicle’s driver swerved to avoid each other, leading them both into the eastbound lane of 10th Street, where they collided.
