Cheyann Maggard dies in fatal Rogers County pedestrian crash

Fatal Rogers County pedestrian crash death of Cheyann R. Maggard – Obituary

A tragic accident on April 28, 2025, in Rogers County claimed the life of 21-year-old Cheyann R. Maggard.

Authorities responded to the incident late on Friday night, just before 10:00 p.m., when Maggard, who was walking northbound along State Highway 28, was struck by an SUV traveling in the same direction.

Despite the swift arrival of emergency responders, Maggard was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other reported injuries. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, although no charges have been disclosed as of yet.
