Anthony Gayvoronski, 24, lost his life following a collision at a West End intersection in Tacoma on March 6. The crash occurred near the 3100 block of North Pearl Street.
Authorities responded to the scene at 5:55 p.m. after receiving a report of an accident involving Gayvoronski’s motorcycle and a van. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene due to multiple blunt-force injuries.
The driver of the van remained at the scene and was transported to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation, though they did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
Tacoma police have determined that the crash was accidental, and no criminal charges will be filed against the van’s driver. The investigation into the exact cause of the collision remains ongoing.
