Three individuals were tragically killed in a house fire that broke out in Pulaski County, Kentucky, early Tuesday morning.

The victims have been identified as 78-year-old Norma Dean Putteet, 55-year-old Jerry Todd Putteet, and 17-year-old Brilee Putteet. The fire occurred around 2 a.m. in Somerset, with a passing driver noticing the flames and alerting authorities.

One person, identified as Brian Lee Putteet, managed to escape the house and was airlifted to a burn facility in Louisville.

Firefighters from several departments worked to control the blaze, which is believed to have started in the lower part of the home.

Brilee Putteet, a student at Southwestern High School, was among the victims, and grief counselors were brought in for support at the school. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
