Fatal Leeds weapons attack death of Owen Lawrence – Obituary

Owen Lawrence, 38, has died after being hospitalized with self-inflicted injuries following a violent incident in Leeds involving a crossbow and a firearm.

The attack, which occurred on Saturday, April 26, left two women, aged 19 and 31, with serious injuries and triggered a counter-terrorism investigation.

Authorities responded to reports of a man armed with weapons on Otley Road in the Headingley area of Leeds. When officers arrived, they found Lawrence with critical injuries he had inflicted upon himself. Despite receiving emergency medical care, he was later pronounced dead in the hospital.
